Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering your time and talents to Courage Classic. More than 300 volunteers support our tour, and we simply could not do it without your help!

Volunteer Check-in

  • Friday, July 19, 2–8 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 20, 5:30–7:30 a.m.
  • Copper Mountain Resort Conference Center – Upper Level

Check-in will be located at the Information Tent in Eagle’s Landing after 8 a.m. on Saturday. If you have secured lodging Copper Mountain Resort, please check in at the lodging building off Copper Road to get your room key. If your reservation is at the Cambria Hotel, please check in at the Cambria Hotel’s front desk.

Meeting Details

  • Aid Station Drivers/Crew– Friday, July 19, noon–4 p.m. in the Far East Lot, Copper Mountain.
  • Ham Radio Install– Friday, July 19, 5 p.m. Far East Lot followed by meeting at 7 p.m. in the Lower Level of the Copper Conference Center.
  • Medics– Friday, July 19, 6 p.m. in the Lower Level of the Copper Conference Center.
  • Rider Check-In Crew– Friday, July 19, 2:30* p.m. in the Upper Level of the Copper Conference Center. (*Please ensure you have enough time to visit Volunteer Check-In before the training.)
  • SAG Assistants– Friday, July 19, 5 p.m. Far East Lot, Copper Mountain

If you are unable to attend a volunteer meeting, please contact your supervisor.

One-day Volunteers

One-day volunteers will receive their tour assignment, t-shirt and wristband in the mail the week prior to the event. You do not need to check in at Copper. Please make sure you bring all items with you to your assignment.

Volunteer Wristband

You will receive your wristband at volunteer check-in or in your mailed packet. The wristband acts as your tour ID and meal ticket, so please wear your wristband for the duration of the tour.

Meals

Each day of your Courage Classic assignment, you are provided with breakfast and lunch, and dinner on Saturday night. Volunteers with an assigned job on Friday night, will also be provided dinner. Breakfast and dinner will be served in Jack’s Slopeside Grill and lunch will be delivered to you on route. If you are on route before breakfast is open, please check with your supervisor on where to pick up your to-go breakfast. Please join us after your shift ends for lunch at the Finish Line Celebration on Sunday!
