The company’s generous investment will improve the quality, quantity, completeness, and accuracy of data to enhance care, ensure equitable outcomes, and make life better for millions of kids across the region and around the world.

“Ovintiv’s generous investment will act as a catalyst for change in health equity, providing new resources that empower our use of data in combination with improvement strategies to provide better quality care to all children,” said Dr. Lalit Bajaj, Chief Quality, Equity, and Outcomes Officer for Children’s Colorado. “Improved data insights will benefit our shared community at its roots – our children – and we are grateful to Ovintiv for their partnership.”

With Ovintiv’s visionary philanthropy, Children’s Colorado will be equipped to add socioeconomic and environmental dimensions to data collected and analyzed about patients, contributing insights to how pediatric diseases are studied, understood, and treated. The gift will position the Analytics Resource Center to identify where disparities in health delivery and outcomes exist and leverage data to guide Children’s Colorado’s strategies to ensure the best outcomes are delivered for all patients.

“Our partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado is a natural fit. Our strategic investment is part of a larger $10 million community initiative focused on supporting children’s hospitals where we live and work. We seek partners and programs that embody our purpose and are aligned with our values and priorities. As a leading energy producer, we have the privilege of supporting the daily lifesaving work of our local children’s hospitals. We’re proud of the role our energy products play in making modern life possible,” said Brendan McCracken, President and CEO, Ovintiv.
