Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation Board of Trustees Elects New Chair
June 10, 2025
John E. Freyer, Jr. has been elected the new Chair of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation Board of Trustees, succeeding Betsy Searle. Freyer serves as the president of Land Title Guarantee Company and Land Title Insurance Corporation and is the founder and president of Settlor, Inc., a software startup.
“My parents and my family and I have been lifelong supporters of Children’s Hospital Colorado. We have seen first-hand the incredible care provided by Children’s Colorado through the health experiences of our children. I believe in this organization’s mission and am excited to lead the Foundation Board and inspire our community to give,” Freyer said.
In 2022, John and his wife, Andi, generously made a seven-figure investment to support Children’s Colorado’s bold vision to address the youth mental health crisis. The transformational gift established the first-of-its-kind Pediatric Mental Health Data Science Incubator, an innovative pilot that leverages technology to accelerate solutions to pediatric mental health challenges and improve treatments. The gift also fuels cutting-edge research that may predict suicide risk in kids.
We have collaborated with John and his family for many years and are very excited to partner with John during his term as Board Chair. John’s innovative leadership along with his commitment to honoring our history will guide us forward and set us up for continued success.
