We are seeking an experienced Donor Relations people and program leader! The Director of Donor Relation at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation (Foundation) creates, implements, manages, and continually assesses a comprehensive and donor-centric donor relations and gift services program to assist the Foundation in reaching its fundraising goals and retaining donors. The scope of work includes donor recognition, endowment reporting, stewardship (primarily for major and principal gift donors), acknowledgement, and providing exceptional philanthropic experiences that strengthen donor engagement. The Director will serve as a member of the Foundations’ Fundraising Cabinet and Leadership Cabinet. The Director is responsible for overseeing the Donor Relations department, providing strategic vision and leadership, and supervising and developing individual team members. Must be a collaborative contributor to a team environment and foster a culture of donor-focused stewardship, gift management, and relationship building. Provides leadership regarding donor stewardship activities, event planning best practices, gift processing, internal oversight and reporting of endowment gifts, project management, budget management, and communication. Brings donor relations expertise and strategic insight to collaborate with fundraising staff to add value to the philanthropic initiatives and donor experiences. The position reports to the Vice President of Donor and Volunteer Engagement.
