Patient ambassadors
Every two years, the community nominates a group of patients to represent Children’s Hospital Colorado as patient ambassadors. Throughout their two-year commitment, ambassadors and their families will share their stories, help to raise money and represent Children’s Colorado at community fundraising events.
Meet our 2026-27 patient ambassadors
Our patient ambassadors have displayed extraordinary strength and courage in the face of tremendous medical challenges. Their stories of resilience remind us why it’s so important to support Children’s Colorado.
This incredible group of kids and teens has endured more surgeries, setbacks, struggles and hospitalizations than most people experience in a lifetime. And yet, despite everything they have been through, they want to give back to help other patients. Each ambassador has created a personal fundraising page to support an area of the hospital that is meaningful for them.

While we are not currently taking Ambassador nominations, if you know a current or former patient who wants to share their story and help raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado? We’d love to hear from you!
The Inspiration Network is a group of former Patient Ambassadors, patients and grateful families, donors and other Foundation supporters who want to inspire giving to Children’s Hospital Colorado. This group is less structured than our Patient Ambassadors but can be engaged to help with fundraising events and share their stories in marketing materials, cases for support, etc., should a current Patient Ambassador be unavailable. The Inspiration Network is part of the Ambassador Program and supplements the work/involvement of our Patient Ambassadors.
