Recruit your family, friends and colleagues to make a difference!
In 2025, we had 90 teams whose riders raised over $2.4 million of the total $2.9 million raised. Many teams contribute to the Children’s Fund – unrestricted gifts that allow Children’s Colorado the flexibility to respond to urgent needs, invest in innovation, and deliver world-class care where it’s needed most. Teams which reach a certain fundraising threshold may designate the gifts they raise to support an approved Children’s Hospital Colorado program or service line.

Team fundraising resources
Donors can designate their donation to a team without having to choose an individual rider(s) to credit. Simply click the “Donate Now” button on a team page to make a team donation.
Team donations are for:
- A team striving to hit the $10,000 fundraising threshold to designate to a service line in the hospital.
- A donor or corporate sponsor would like their gift to benefit the team as a whole.
- A donor would like to split their donation between multiple riders. List the riders who should be credited in the donation form text box.
- A team is promoting their ride in the media, on their website, etc.
Helpful Resources:
- Editable, print-ready team posters to hang up in a break room, office, etc. (To edit, download the linked zip file and open in Adobe.)
Individual Fundraising Requirement
In order to participate, each individual rider is required to meet their fundraising minimum. Team totals will not count toward individual rider minimum donation amounts.

Team Sponsors
Sponsorships can go toward overall tour support or be designated to a specific team. Teams who raise $50,000 or more may designate their fundraising dollars to an approved designated fund to support a specific Hospital program. Many teams offer other recognition opportunities separate from the Foundation-offered opportunities listed here.
You may be interested in finding corporate sponsors for your team. While Children’s Colorado asks that you do not approach any of our corporate sponsors listed on the Courage Classic website, we encourage you to cultivate your own sponsorships. Here are some things to keep in mind:
Children’s Colorado Foundation can collect team sponsorship funds only when the purpose of these funds is to pay for registrations for specific riders or when the funds represent charitable donations to the team. Funds to be used to purchase items for the team (jerseys, etc.) or for team activities (parties, training rides, etc.) cannot be collected by Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.
Depending on the structure of the team sponsorship program, there are 3 categories of support a sponsor might provide to a team: (1) underwriting or purchasing team activities and/or goods, (2) paying for registrations, and/ or (3) making donations that are credited to the team or specific riders on the team.
If a donor is interested in supporting your team at the $5,000 level or above the Foundation can provide sponsor benefits. Contact us to learn more about Team Sponsorships.
If a sponsor does not wish to be an official Team Sponsor through the Foundation, then team sponsorship obligations are fulfilled by the team, not by Children’s Colorado Foundation.
